Volunteers are required to take part in clinical trials to evaluate the effectiveness of the drug golimumab in reducing the signs and symptoms of ulcerative colitis. The Crohn's & Colitis Support Group (CCSG) Inc. Is a voluntary non-profit organisation whose aims are to provide support, advice and information to interested individuals and people who have Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, and educational material to medical professionals and organisations within New Zealand.

Our range of services includes a local newsletter (4 per year), and a national newsletter (3 per year), a specialist library, 10 information leaflets, and a Community Contact Service. The CCSG provides patient education material to hospitals, specialists, general practitioners and other professional institutions as well as supplying this material to the other 11 CCSGs around New Zealand.
